Groups form coronavirus charity fund

The United Way of Lake County, the Lake County Municipal League and other groups have formed the Lake County COVID-19 Community Response Fund to support local nonprofit organizations serving Lake County residents in need. Grant will focus on critical needs, such as food, basic supplies, rental and utility assistance and emergencies. Donations can be made by visiting liveunitedlakecounty.org/covid19/. Checks payable to United Way of Lake County can be sent to 330 S. Greenleaf St., Gurnee, IL, 60031. Checks should include the note "COVID-19 Community Response Fund."
