Palatine's first Restaurant Week set for March 27-April 5

Those who enjoy dining out will have a good reason to visit Palatine starting late next month.

Foodies will get to explore the first Palatine Restaurant Week March 27 through April 5. Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Steven Gaus announced the initiative before this week's State of the Village presentation by Mayor Jim Schwantz.

Gaus said 15 to 20 eateries are expected to participate in restaurant week.

“Many of our restaurants in the community will be running special promotions, special menus to help bring you out to their restaurants,” Gaus told the crowd at the Palatine village hall.

“So, this is our first time doing this and we're looking for a very successful event.”

The Palatine area chamber event will join a roster that includes Rosemont Restaurant Week March 1-7 and Chicago Northwest Restaurant Week March 6-15.
