Grains mixed, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery rose 3 cents at $5.3540 a bushel; Dec. corn was fell 2 cents at $3.6840 a bushel; Mar. oats was off 1 cent at $3.0220 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans gained 9.40 cents at 8.85 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec. live cattle was off .48 cents at $1.1952 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle lost 1.48 cents at $1.4012 a pound; Dec. lean hogs fell .57 cent at .6158a pound.
