Get ready for Northwest Highway construction in Barrington

Roadwork is scheduled to begin Monday on Northwest Highway between Route 22 and Hart Road in Barrington, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation. IDOT informed Barrington officials that crews will be doing intermittent resurfacing and patching work. Construction is to finish by Friday, Oct. 4, provided there are no weather delays. Traffic will be allowed through during the work, but drivers may encounter delays.
