Indianapolis police make arrest in deaths of infant and man

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis police have arrested a 36-year-old woman in connection with a shooting that left two people dead, including an infant, and injured a third person.

Authorities responded to a shooting on Saturday afternoon. A 37-year-old man and his 3-month-old nephew were pronounced dead at the scene. A third person, the man's mother, was injured and hospitalized. She is reported in stable condition.

Police made the arrest late Saturday and took the woman to police headquarters for questioning. The Marion County Prosecutor's Office will review the case to make a decision on charges.

Police have not released the names of the victims.
