Weather forces rescheduling of Richmond Pride festival

RICHMOND, Ind. (AP) - Inclement weather has forced the rescheduling of what's believed to be the first gay Pride festival in the eastern Indiana city of Richmond.

Rainbow Richmond, the group organizing the festival, announced on its Facebook page that the Rainbow Richmond Pride Festival scheduled for Saturday has been canceled. It says the event will be rescheduled.

The festival was to be held at Jack Elstro Plaza in the city's downtown area and feature live music, speakers from the community and a family-friendly drag show.
