Boy Scouts to host flag retirement ceremony Monday in Rolling Meadows
Just days after Flag Day, Rolling Meadows Boy Scout Troop 168 will host a flag retirement ceremony in Kimball Hill Park.
The ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday at the park's fire bowl/pit. Worn or tattered flags to be retired can be dropped off at city hall, 3600 Kirchoff Road, and they will be brought over for the event.
