Wheeling clerk is backing incumbents

As Wheeling village clerk it has been my privilege to serve with Trustees Ray Lang and Dave Vogel since 2009 and Trustee Joe Vito since 2015. Each one of these trustees has made positive contributions to our town and I sincerely hope that voters in Wheeling will allow them to continue to do so by re-electing each of them in the April 2, 2019 election.

Trustee Lang is a thoughtful listener, always giving each of his fellow trustees' viewpoints on important issues consideration. Trustee Vogel provides sound financial insight to the workings of the village through his years as a CPA, and Trustee Vito consistently provides a fresh, well-thought-out prospective to village issues, especially business development.

These trustees all want to see Wheeling continue to grow. They have no hidden agendas as their opponents do and put aside personal preferences when making decisions, instead always asking what is best for our community.

Each trustee has a strong knowledge of municipal government and how the property tax system works. None of them would ever approve a budget that is not balanced. They realize that in our form of government their position is not to manage the village operations but to set the policy that guides staff to do their jobs.

I endorse the incumbents - Ray Lang, Joe Vito and Dave Vogel for trustee in the Village of Wheeling. Please join me in voting for all three on April 2, 2019.
