Grains lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Mar. delivery fell 6.40 cents at $4.6660 a bushel; Mar. corn was off 6.40 cents at $3.6820 a bushel; Mar. oats was down 4.20 cents at $2.6420 a bushel; while Mar. soybeans declined 15 cents at 9.0100 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Feb. live cattle was up .60 cent at $1.2950 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle rose .07 cent at $1.4332 a pound; Apr. lean hogs gained 1.25 cents at .5452 a pound.
