Grains mostly higher, Livestock higher
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Mar. delivery gained 8.60 cents at $5.2220 a bushel; Mar. corn rose 1 cent at $3.8320 a bushel; Dec. oats was up 2.20 cents at $2.8120 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans fell 4 cents at 9.1040 a bushel.
Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Feb. live cattle rose 1.73 cents at $1.2378 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle was up .62 cent at $1.4610 a pound; Dec. lean hogs gained .95 cent at .6280 a pound.
