Endorsement: Berkowicz, Cowan for Will County Board District 11
There are four candidates for two positions to represent District 11 on the Will County Board.
Two Republicans, Julie Berkowicz and Kathy Havel, won their primary battles against a pair of incumbents. Democrats Michelle "Mimi" Cowan and Jim Kopchok round out the choices for the seat, which represents the portion of Naperville located within Will County. All four candidates bring strong qualifications to the table and would be fine representatives of Naperville. Because of their commitment to stimulating community involvement and engagement between the county government and their residents, Berkowicz and Cowan are endorsed.
