World TeamTennis relocates HQ to Southern California

CARLSBAD, Calif. (AP) - World TeamTennis has relocated its corporate headquarters from New York to Southern California in order to be closer to tech companies that can help the league improve its digital presence.

The new office in Carlsbad, located 35 miles north of San Diego, is being run by Chris Renner, who was named the league's CEO in July. Renner oversaw WTT's introduction of its own live match streaming platform WTT.tv.

The six-team league completed its 43rd season in August with the Springfield, Massachusetts, Lasers beating Philadelphia in the WTT finals. WTT features men and women teaming on the same court.
