Schneider, Bennett to debate Oct. 7 in Deerfield

The candidates for Illinois' 10th Congressional District seat will face off in a debate Oct. 7, in Deerfield.

Incumbent Democratic Rep. Brad Schneider and Republican challenger Doug Bennett are scheduled to participate in the event, set for 2 p.m. at Deerfield High School, 1959 Waukegan Road.

Candidates for the Illinois Senate 29th District seat and the state House 58th District seat will debate at the same event. The senate candidates are Democratic incumbent Julie Morrison and Republican challenger Barrett Davie; the state House candidates are Democrat Bob Morgan and Republican Rick Lesser. The general election is Nov. 6.
