Go GREEN this Halloween! Shop the Costume Swap-O-Rama at the Grayslake Library

Grayslake, IL September 5, 2018 - The Grayslake Area Public Library is collecting children's Halloween costumes until September 22, 2018 for the upcoming Kids' Halloween Costume Swap-O-Rama, to be held Saturday, September 29, 2018.

Go green this Halloween by swapping a clean, gently-used costume for a new-to-you costume. People who donate a costume by September 22, 2018 will receive one ticket per costume to be used at the Swap-O-Rama. Shopping hours for ticket holders is from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

To ensure shoppers have a positive experience, the costume must be in good to excellent condition, with no rips, tears, or stains. And a complete outfit; no partial costumes or parts. The Grayslake Library reserves the right to reject donations that do not meet these criteria.

Want to shop the Swap-O-Rama but don't have a costume to donate? Non-ticket holders may shop between 12:00 and 1:00 pm.

Entrance and costume selection is on a first come, first serve basis and the Grayslake Area Public Library cannot guarantee you will find a costume in your size or fit. To make costume selection go smoothly, we suggest children wear clothing that allows for costumes to easily to slip on and off at the event.

Donations of kids' costumes without swapping is accepted and greatly appreciated.
