Meet candidates Sean Casten, Nancy Zettler at Dundee Township Democrats meeting April 9

The Dundee Township Democrats invite Dundee Township voters to meet, ask questions and hear Sean Casten and Nancy Zettler, the Democratic nominees for the 6th Congressional District and the 33rd Illinois State Senate District, respectively.

The candidates will speak about their platforms and campaigns.

Casten is running to unseat the current 6th Congressional District Republican Rep. Peter Roskam and wants to represent 6th District voters on issues such as gun control, immigration, women's rights and opportunities, the environment, education, health care, jobs and LGBTQ rights.

Zettler is running to unseat current 33rd state Senate District Republican Sen. Karen McConnaughay and wants to represent 33rd District voters on issues such as property taxes, money in politics, seniors, women's issues and education.

Casten and Zettler will appear at the regular monthly meeting of the Dundee Township Democrats from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 9, on the second floor of Emmett's, 128 W. Main St. in West Dundee. A dinner and refreshments menu is available.

The Dundee Township Democrats meet the second Monday of every month at Emmett's from 7 to 9 p.m. and all are welcome.
