Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce announces new board leaders
The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce will have new board leaders for 2018.
Chamber officials announced Friday that Tom Cramer of Wintrust Mortgage will serve as chairman of the board. Other executive committee board members will include Dennis Kelly of FGMK Insurance, Inc. as first vice chairman; Andrea Herran of Focus HR Consulting as second vice chairman; Charlotte Neault of Barrington Bank and Trust Co. as treasurer; and Liz Luby of @properties/The Luby Group and 365Barrington.com as past chairman.
The 2018 board of directors will be officially sworn in at the chamber's annual dinner and scholarship fundraiser on Thursday, Jan. 18, at The Stonegate Conference and Banquet Centre in Hoffman Estates.
"The BACC board drives the focus and direction of the chamber and is comprised of individuals dedicated to our mission -- to help local businesses succeed and keep our communities vibrant," Suzanne Corr, president and CEO of the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce, said in an announcement of the new board leadership.
New members of the board include Amber Luczak of Edward Jones, Kathleen Scott from Pepper Park Coffee, and Dr. Robert MacDonald of Amita Health.
Board members returning for another term include Joseph Connelly of BMO Harris Bank; Steve Cook of Quintessential Media Group; Jen Frey from Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Health and Fitness Center; Keith Hanson of Hanson Law Group LLP; and Paul Horcher from Refined Construction.
Also continuing on the Barrington-area chamber board are Patty Jacobsen of Jensen, Jacobsen and Associates Inc.; John Jackson of 4ci Mgmt-Balancing Life's Challenges; Doug McAllister of Douglas Automotive Inc.; Bryan McGonigal from McGonigal's Pub; Jennifer Prell from Elderwerks/Paxem; and Scott Ray of the Daily Herald Media Group.
Board members represent a broad cross-section of business and industry in the Barrington area, officials said, contributing their time and expertise throughout the year in guiding the chamber.
