2nd murder conviction as juvenile nets 130-year sentence

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - A judge has sentenced a South Bend man to 130 years in prison for a fatal shooting that happened when he was 15 years old.

The sentencing for now-20-year-old Jermaine Munn comes as he is already serving prison time for another deadly shooting that happened when he was a juvenile.

A jury last month convicted Munn of murder charges for the July 2013 shooting death of 20-year-old Jarina Bailey. Authorities say the shooting happened during a fight between two gangs and that Bailey was with rivals of Munn's gang.

Munn has been in prison for two years since being convicted of killing Clay High School senior Nathan Hall while robbing him of $80 and a small amount of marijuana in 2014.
