Tickets on sale now for Barrington Area TasteFest

Tickets are now on sale for one of the most popular tasting events in the region.

The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 14th annual Great Barrington Area TasteFest from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the The Onion Pub & Brewery, 22221 N. Pepper Road, in Lake Barrington. The annual event showcases samples from some of the finest purveyors of food and spirits in the Barrington area.

Tickets to TasteFest are $30 in advance or $35 at the door and include a night of complimentary sampling from more than 20 restaurants, microbrewers, wineries and distillers. The first 400 guests receive a collectible TasteFest glass at the door.

The evening also includes business vendors and live entertainment. A highlight of the evening is the Barrington Bank & Trust Co., N.A. money machine, where guests can step in to grab some fast cash.

Some of this year's tasting vendors include Apple Villa Famous Pancake House & Restaurant, Brunch Café, Clarke's Bakery & Deli, Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant, Copper Fiddle Distillery, Flesk Brewing, Francesca's Famiglia, Garfield's Beverage Warehouse, Heinen's Grocery Store, Jennie and Vera's Sweets + Savories, Kooker's, La Pizza Via, McGonigal's Pub, Moretti's, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Onion Pub & Brewery, Pepper Park Coffee, Ruth's Chris Steak House, The Solana of Deer Park, Savory Salads, Southern Belles Barrington, Sweet Caroline's Crab-N-Que, Tiburon Rum, Vin Chicago, Vintage Wine & Spirits, and more. Guests will vote on the Great Taste Awards for Best Taste, Best Entree, Best Spirit and Best Dessert.
