Education funding talk in Round Lake

Democratic state Rep. Yingling will visit classrooms at Round Lake Early Education Center to observe the school's teachers and students at their work. He then will hold a discussion with the school's teachers to discuss education funding and other issues. Round Lake Area Unit District 116 teacher Kali Skiles' guest column on a need for equitable school funding in the Daily Herald on Feb. 20 led to the planned Yingling visit and discussion.
