Claim Jumper to Host Tip-A-Cop® Fundraiser to Benefit Special Olympics Thursday

Lombard and Hoffman Estates area residents and visitors are invited to attend the Annual Tip-A-Cop Fundraiser at Illinois Claim Jumper Restaurants on Thursday, April 6. From 5 PM - 9 PM, local law enforcement officers serve as celebrity waiters and their tips will benefit the Special Olympics Illinois.

The annual fundraiser helps those with intellectual disabilities participate as productive and respected members of society at large by offering them a fair opportunity to develop and demonstrate their skills and talents through sports training and competition. For over 15 years, Tip-A-Cop events have raised thousands of dollars for Special Olympics Illinois as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run®, as well as increase the public's awareness of the special capabilities and needs of those with intellectual disabilities.
