Why are you running for this office, whether for re-election or election the first time? Is there a particular issue that motivates you, and if so, what is it?

The satisfaction that comes when we finish a project and turn it over to the public.

How do you assess the state of the district's finances? What, if any, changes do you propose to alter the district's financial picture, whether through cost reduction or revenue increases? Please be as specific as possible on where you would propose cutting or how you would propose increasing revenue.

Our finances are in great shape all fund balances are positive.The park district has two soft ball fieids that dont get used to their potential.We need to try to get back the teams that used and paid for

What programs aren't paying for themselves? Would you keep, eliminate or change them? How and why?

The Itasca seniors club uses a room for there meetings.We also let them use one of are vans for trips.we will continue to help them in the future

Are there any unmet recreational needs? If yes, what are they and how would you propose paying for them?

We have completely replaced five of our play grounds All are now ADA approved.The other remaining play grounds will be replaced.We hope to get a grant for these playggrounds


If you are a newcomer, what prompted you to run for the park board? If you're an incumbent, list your accomplishments or key initiatives in which you played a leadership role.

15 years on Itasca Park board.two years on IAPD board.Itasca Park District has won TWO gold medals for best project and presentatition In the 30.000 and under population.Also we were finalists in 2015 and 2016

What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?

Getting kids outside and off the video games. Park districts offer somuch and there plenty of them.
