Bobcat heartbreak

It broke my heart to read about the 300 bobcats Illinois allowed to be killed, especially reading that some were caught in traps.

A quick death by firearm or arrow would be much preferred to trapping.

I thought as a society, we decided trapping was inhumane.

Deer I get. Hunters eat them. But cats?
