Discover your foodie side at St. Charles Restaurant Week

As part of St. Charles Restaurant Week Feb. 27 to March 3, you can visit 37 participating restaurants and receive a 20-percent discount off your total bill when you present a special coupon - either printed or on your phone. Whether you're visiting an old favorite or looking to try something new, St. Charles offers one of the Chicago area's best dining scenes.

"Restaurant Week is a great way to get out and support your local restaurants and to experience the great variety of cuisine that St. Charles has to offer," says Matt O'Rourke, economic development division manager.

There are five easy ways to get your hands on a Restaurant Week coupon:

1. Watch your mailbox for the Restaurant Week postcard. Present it at any participating restaurant for the discount.

2. Look for Restaurant Week ads in local papers. Simply clip out the ad and bring it to a participating restaurant.

3. Click on online and social media ads to get your coupon.

4. Go to our website at www.stcharlesil.gov/restaurant-week to see a list of participating restaurants and their menus. There you can download and print copies of the coupon.

5. Download the coupon to your mobile device and show it on your phone to your server.

Please note: only one bill per table is eligible for the discount, a minimum purchase of $20 is required, and the 20-percent discount excludes tax, tip, and alcohol. This offer is not valid with other promotions the restaurants may be running and is for dine-in only, no carry-out.

2017 Restaurant Week Instagram contest rules

1. Contest runs from Feb. 27, 2017 to March 3, 2017.

2. Three diners with the most visits to different St. Charles restaurants are eligible to win a $25 St. Charles Chamber of Commerce gift certificate. The gift certificate can be used at any of the local participating businesses listed.

3. In the event of a tie, three winners will be drawn from the eligible names.

4. Winners will be notified through Instagram.

5. Employees of the city of St. Charles are not eligible to win a prize but can send in Restaurant Week photos!
