Preschool and Daycare providers present at Bartlett Library

The Bartlett Library hosted its annual Preschool and Daycare Fair on Saturday, January 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., which had a total of 84 patrons in attendance.

Preschools and daycares present included: Bartlett Park District Preschool, Precious Tots Preschool, Kripa Montessori School, Living Lord Lutheran Preschool, Safari Childcare, Sandy's Learning House, Trinity Lutheran Preschool, Schick's Crossing and Give Me Five! (a U-46 program for emergent reading).

Each of the participating locations had brochures, pamphlets and information on the different services and activities they offer for the parents and/or caregivers in attendance.

Youth and Teen Services Assistant Manager Phyllis Sadowski put on the program, and has been doing so for the past several years.

"This program allows the public to see another way the Library serves as a resource," Sadowski said. "Parents don't have to be hopping from place to place; rather they can use the Library as a meeting space to talk face-to-face with preschool and daycare providers."

The young children present also had fun playing games with the toys that were provided by the preschools an daycares.

If you missed this program, an upcoming Youth & Teen Services program at the Bartlett Library is the "Multicultural Film Festival" program on Saturday, Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. We will be showing short films featuring folk and fairy tales from around the world!
