Obama reign hardly has been 'adequate'

This is in response to Donald B. Abbs commentary that "President Obama is adequate; and we're doing OK with him." He uses this as a reason to vote for Hillary. How does Mr. Abbs define "Adequate"?

We are in one of the slowest economic recoveries in our history. Millions are still unemployed. "Adequate"?

Obamacare was to cut healthcare premiums and put $2,500 into the pockets of the average family. Instead, my premiums have increased 225 percent and my deductible went up over 25 percent. I am being forced to switch insurance companies for the 3rd time in three years after having the same insurance for many years. "Adequate"?

The wars against ISIS and in Syria are a quagmire of indecision and no clear objectives. We are cooperating with Russia, then we aren't. "Adequate"? Israel and other allies no longer trust us, and they are unsure if we can be relied upon in times of crisis. "Adequate"?

As a small business owner, I see the increasing tax burden from both sides. I cannot hire another employee is because the requirements for healthcare and the tax liability are too overwhelming. Many companies are in the same position. "Adequate"?

Is Donald Trump the end all? Nope. Does he irritate people? Yes. Is he a racist or homophobe? I don't believe that is true. Would I prefer another Republican candidate? Yes.

Check the recent email leaks and you will see that Hillary has made many statements that would make one believe she is racist, against Catholics, pays female staff members less than male staff members, scoffs at the middle class and other beliefs that are not so voter friendly.

Mr. Abbs and I agree on one point: Not voting or voting for a third party is not the answer.
