Working their Ohio connections for Cubs World Series tickets

I bumped into John Stanley, right, of Tinley Park and Nate Macy of Clarendon Hills at the Wyandot Service Plaza in Genoa, Ohio, Monday night. That's somewhere between Toledo and Sandusky, if that means anything to you. These Cubs fans reached out to a connection in the medical supplies field in Cleveland on a lark, checking to see if they had any World Series tickets. Much to their surprise, the company came up with a pair for Game 1. They don't know what they're doing for Game 2, but they didn't drive six hours for a haircut. I expect they'll find a way to see both games in Cleveland.
