The Stationery Studio to figh hunger for #GivingTuesday

BUFFALO GROVE -- The Stationery Studio is hosting a food drive Nov. 1-28 to help fill its community food pantry for the holiday season.

Partnering with #GivingTuesday, is hoping to raise awareness of the need in the community. They will be holding the food drive in their lobby where people are encouraged to drop off needed items. Some suggested items needed are pasta, pasta sauces, crackers, rice, noodles, baked beans, cereal, oatmeal, pop tarts, macaroni and cheese, instant potatoes, pancake mix, canned meats, canned fruit/vegetables, canned meals such as beef stew and chili, facial tissue, dish soap, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, toothbrush/toothpaste, laundry detergent, bath soap


and paper towels.

The food drive will benefit the Vernon Township Food Pantry. The Stationery Studio has been committed to helping the Vernon Township Food

Pantry for years and chose them as their #GivingTuesday partner this holiday season.

Collected items will be delivered on #GivingTuesday, Nov. 29. For those interested in helping with the food drive, drop off items from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 975 Weiland Road in Buffalo Grove. Items must be delivered no later than Nov. 28.
