Grown-up fun at Kane County toy show

Toy shows certainly aren't for just kids these days. At least not according to the 600 exhibitors at Sunday's Antique Collectible Toy and Doll Show spread over several buildings at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles.

All categories of fine antique and collectible toys, dolls, trucks, cars and games were on display at the 43rd annual show, which draws exhibitors from across the United States and several countries. Also appearing was the Midwest Garrison of the 501st Legion, a "Star Wars" costuming organization. Show attendees were able to get their pictures taken with some of the characters.

The toy show is held twice a year. The next show is April 23, 2017. For more information, visit chicagotoyshow.com.
