A chance to improve
When I hear people tell me we need a change in leadership in the Oval Office, it makes me wonder where they have been for the past eight years. Our current president, in his first term, saved us from another depression as we were on the edge of financial collapse from the GOP policies of George Bush and his Republican-controlled Congress.
Jobs were being lost in record numbers. The real estate industry went to hell. The auto industry was going bankrupt. In other words, the United States was in the worst economic mess ever seen since Hoover was president.
In almost eight years, President Obama stopped the bleeding in every area of government. Now, we must elect a person to the office that will improve on the Obama agenda. Hillary Clinton is that person. She has a record of accomplishments. Her plans to make our government stronger together are refreshing and can be found on her website.
She has a record of getting things done. She will work hard for all of us. I urge a vote for Hillary on November 8.
