RH (Restoration Hardware) opens at Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora

AURORA - Chicago Premium Outlets welcomed Illinois' only RH (Restoration Hardware) outlet to its newly expanded center this fall, giving visitors the chance to shop more than 21,800 square feet of home furnishings.

RH opened Oct. 13 and is among the largest retail spaces, topped only by anchor Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th. The store has RH furniture, lighting, textiles, bathware, décor and outdoor furnishings, as well as items from RH Baby & Child and RH Teen. RH is headquartered in Corte Madera, California and operates nearly 30 outlet stores in the U.S. The store is at the east end of the center, near Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th and Old Navy Outlet.

"We are thrilled to bring a high-end home furnishings brand to our center," Phil Whitsel, general manager at Chicago Premium Outlets, said in a statement. "The highly anticipated RH outlet is Chicago Premium Outlets' only retailer solely dedicated to home goods. The store will greatly expand our offerings and provide variety among our plethora of fashion brands and specialty restaurants."

The largest outdoor shopping center in the area, the recently renovated Chicago Premium Outlets is a 688,000-square-foot retail area that includes a pond, fireplaces and one-of-a-kind art installations.

The August 2015 expansion of Chicago Premium Outlets paved the way for high-profile newcomers, including anchor Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, Abercrombie & Fitch Outlet, Columbia Sportswear, Movado Company Store, Old Navy Outlet, Sperry Top-Sider, Tommy Hilfiger Kids, UGG Australia, Vince, and the first Midwest outlets for German luxury coat maker Wellensteyn, eclectic lifestyle designer Robert Graham, high-performance outfitter Arc'teryx and Clarins luxury skin care.
