Fox Meadows staff join in McTeacher's Night fundraiser

On Oct. 19, Fox Meadows Elementary School held a McTeacher's Night fundraiser at the McDonald's in South Elgin.

The Fox Meadows McTeacher's Night was a fun way to bring the elementary teachers together and have the opportunity to meet the parents of students and members of the community, all while raising funds for the school.

Ten teachers and staff members from the school worked jobs such as greeting guests, the front counter, the drive-thru, apple pie sales and serving ice cream. Several teachers took turns wearing the apple pie costume. Ronald McDonald joined the fun during the event. The school plans to use the money raised to purchase books for the school library, sixth-grade Recognition Party and laptops for the students.

Special thank you goes out to the PTO's April Wende for coordinating the entire event.
