Lake County sheriff's office to host town hall meetings

Lake County sheriff's police will host a series of town hall meetings starting in November. Officials said five sessions will be spread across Lake County. Sheriff Mark Curran, Undersheriff Ray Rose and others from the office are expected at each town hall meeting meant to address issues such as implementation of body-worn cameras, mental health initiatives and procedural justice programs. The first session is set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Rondout Elementary School, 28593 North Bradley Road near Lake Forest.
