Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was 6.20 cents higher at $4.2220 a bushel; December corn was 4.60 cents higher at $3.5420 bushel; December oats was 2.40 cents higher at $1.9820 a bushel while November soybeans gained 14.20 cents to $9.7040 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was 1.65 cents higher at $.9610 a pound; October feeder cattle was 1.78 cent higher at $1.2123 pound; October lean hogs lost .03 cent to $.5260 a pound.
