Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce had a great turn-out at the recent Chamber Before Hours, hosted by Ela Township Republicans at Main Street Sports Center in Lake Zurich. Jim Dorfman, chairman for Ela Township Republicans spoke briefly about the organization andits purpose.
Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce had Business After Hours hosted by Inland Bank of Lake Zurich. Laurie Stock, bank manager, was presented a Certificate of Appreciation by Claire Slattery, chamber president.
Victor Envelope Company recently hosted a Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack Event at their Bensenville manufacturing facility. They gathered employees, their families, friends, and other members of the community to pack over 108,000 meals for children around the world. Many students from Fenton High School and Elmhurst College also joined to make this an outstanding event with amazing results.
B. Gunther & Company celebrated its 30th anniversary with an evening Open House and Alley Party at the business on Main Street in Lisle. More than 150 clients, suppliers and friends came out to join them for shop tours, live music, champagne and hors d'oeuvres. They also collect money for the Northern Illinois Food Bank. B. Gunther & Company is a manufacturer and distributor of corporate awards, promotional products and interior signs. It is one of the longest running businesses in downtown Lisle.
The Schaumburg Business Association celebrated the grand opening of Art Fuzd at 1457 W. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg, along with Village Trustee Frank Kozak, Trustee Marge Connelly, Trustee Jack Sullivan and Village Clerk Marilyn Karr.
