Keep rainbow flag on private property

Sorry, Daily Herald, but it is not a petty issue. It is opening a can of worms on whomever desires to fly their flag. There is nothing wrong with showing compassion but those killed in Orlando were Americans first, no matter if they black or white, men or women, gay or straight. The American flag covers it.

If a private entity chooses to fly the rainbow flag, fine, but not a public facility. Mr. Sarlo was wrong and so was our Mayor.
