Understaffing and increased workloads lead to mistakes and errors which cannot be tolerated. Staff shall be evaluated periodically against the number of cases requiring creation and maintenance of judicial records. Initiatives shall be created or continued to ensure the office's technology is modernized to the most current standards.Describe your position on transparency in the office and the ease of access to records by the public. If you believe improvements are needed, what are they and how would you go about achieving them?The functions of county court clerks are prescribed by statute, evidence of compliance shall be available to the citizens. The clerk should strive to be as error free as reasonable achievable. The clerk should maintain a professional workplace environment so that staff can perform to the best of their abilities.
