Questions & Answers

Do you support or oppose construction of the Longmeadow Parkway, including the use of a toll for the crossing over the Fox River?

Support construction of new bridge and road to inprove traffic

Do you agree with the Kane County State's Attorney, Kane County Public Defender and Kane County Sheriff that they require more staff? If so, where will the money come from to support that additional staff?

Yes in order to do the best job there is need for sdditional staff

Do you support a completely frozen Kane County property tax levy, or would you support a non-referendum increase of the county's property tax levy to factor in new construction?

We should tax all new construction and if necessary a small increase in tax.


What is your philosophy regarding the use of forest preserve district property? Are projects like the proposed cross country course for the former Settler's Hill Landfill appropriate?

There are many ways for citizens to enjoy the outdoors, this could well be one.

Do you believe Kane County's elected officials, including the board, are fairly compensated? Or is it time to explore raises for all the elected offices?

There should be a discussion with a citizens advisory group to determine the need for increase. This group would then recommend such to the board.

What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?

Staffing and training of all offices is important. Improved highways, well run court and jail. Providing mental heath where needed. Helping those with special needs be a part of society AID. Helping to provide food and housing to all. Literacy and education are also key to a better life.

Always tell the truth. Help others

More time with family. Farming takes so much time.
