Mundelein High concert on Thursday night

Mundelein High School's vocal music department will host its first concert of the year Thursday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium, 1350 W. Hawley St., Mundelein. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted. Four concert choirs (Treble Choir, Bel Canto, Concert Choir and Master Singers), and three show choirs (SoundFX, Lights and Sound) will be joined by four area middle school choirs. Those include Sandburg, Hawthorn North, Fremont and West Oak. The middle schools will sing "Shine on Me" with the MHS Concert Choir and Master Singers. Young men from the middle schools will sing "Brooklyn's Here" with the men of SoundFX. Before the concert, the middle school students will take part in a clinic with the high school directors and students.
