Nordstrom Rack opens Friday in Rosemont
Nordstrom Rack will host a grand opening event Friday morning at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago, where it will become one of the Rosemont mall's anchor tenants.
At 8 a.m., there will be music, coffee and breakfast treats outside the store in the common area of the mall. Customers 18 and older will be eligible to win one of 30 $100 gift cards, and one person will win a $1,000 shopping spree. Doors to the store open at 9 a.m.
Nordstrom Rack, which offers clearance merchandise from Nordstrom stores, will be on the mall's second level in the space formerly occupied by the Villagio restaurant, which closed at the end of 2015. The mall is located off the Tri-State Tollway at Balmoral Avenue.
