Quick hit: A Burlington Central offense that has managed only 27 points this season faces a Johnsburg defense that has limited opponents to a league-low 41 points.

DeKalb (3-1, 1-0) at Kaneland (3-1, 1-0)

When: 7 p.m. Friday

Quick hit: Northern Illinois Big 12 East leaders collide. Defending champion DeKalb defeated the Knights last year 45-28. Two of DeKalb's top offensive players are 6-2 senior wide receiver Cole Tucker and Jelante Young, a 5-8, 195-pound running back.

Midland (0-4, 0-4) at Westminster Christian (3-1, 3-1)

When: 7 p.m. Friday at Warrior Field

Quick hit: The Westminster Christian defense has forced 10 turnovers while the offense has committed 5. The Warrior offense averages 355 total yards per game, led by quarterback Tannor Park (26 of 36, 665 yards, 11 TD, 2 Int.) and receiver Scott Graziano (13 catches, 460 yards, 9 touchdowns).
