Library to Celebrate Indie Author Day

Indie Author Day will be celebrated from noon to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8 in the Rasmussen Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. Thirteen authors who have independently published books will be available to meet and greet visitors, and their books will be available for purchase and signing. At 1 p.m., there will be an hour-long digital gathering with indie authors, as well as agents and other industry leaders from around the country. This event will be live-streamed in the Rasmussen Room.

The library's indie author event is part of a national Indie Author Day celebration. It is open to all ages, and no registration or fee is required.
