Inland sells Naperville's Freedom Commons property

Oak Brook-based Inland Private Capital Corp. said Monday that it sold Freedom Commons in Naperville for an undisclosed amount.

Freedom Commons, at 1703-1847 Freedom Drive, offers 81,760 square feet of retail stores and services, including AthletiCo Physical Therapy, Maggiano's Little Italy, Morton's The Steakhouse and Old Town Pour House.

"The positive leasing activity during the first quarter of the year, combined with the 10-year extension of the Maggiano's Little Italy lease, was instrumental" in selling this property, Rahul Sehgal, Inland's chief investment officer, said in a statement.

An Inland spokeswoman declined to name the buyer or the sale price.

The deal closed on Sept. 8.

Inland said it acquired Freedom Commons in 2013.
