Images: Remembering 9/11 around the country and in the suburbs

The world took time out on Sunday to remember those lost during terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Almost 3,000 people died when terrorists hijacked passenger jets and flew them into the two towers of the World Trade Center in New York, into the Pentagon in Washington, and when passengers of Flight 93 overwhelmed the terrorists and forced the plane to crash in a field in Pennsylvania.
