Boys soccer: Two Wisconsin wins for Warren
In a Wisconsin doubleheader on Saturday, Warren's boys soccer team defeated both Bradford (5-0) and Tremper (5-0).
Ruben Delgadillo had 2 goals in the Bradford game and Kevin Penarrietta had 2 goals in the Tremper game.
Goalkeepers Jeffery Pioquinto and Hunter Faurbo preserved shutouts for the Blue Devils.
Warren is now 7-0-1 on the season.
Stevenson splits: At the Glenbrook South Invite, Stevenson tied Glenbrook South 0-0 in its first game, getting the second shutout of the season for goalie Ethan Kalis.
In its second game, Stevenson defeated Taft, 4-1.
Borier Wu paced Stevenson with a goal and 2 assists.
Ryan McGrogan, Anthony Watrach and Jake Nunez scored the Patriots' other goals.
Stevenson is now 2-1-1 on the season.
Round Lake wins, ties: At the Johnsburg tournament, Alejandro Sotelo scored 4 goals to help Round Lake to an 8-1 win over Johnsburg.
Antonio Fonseca had a goal and an assist and Vladimir Manriquez had 2 assists.
Round Lake then tied Hampshire, 1-1. Manriquez scored the Panthers' only goal.
Goalie Abel Campa had 5 saves on the day. Round Lake is now 4-1-1.
Panthers coach Hugo Tellez surpassed the 100-victory milestone with the team performance over the weekend.
Antioch gets two wins: Antioch won both of its games at the IMSA tournament to place second.
Antioch defeated IMSA, 2-1 with Krystian Nikolov getting both goals.
Antioch then shut out Joliet Catholic, 3-0.
Sebastian Scofield had 2 goals for Antioch, which moves to 3-4-1 on the season.
