Dist. 15 releases schedule for referendum meetings

Palatine Township Elementary District 15 on Thursday released the schedule of informational meetings the district will hold on its proposal to borrow $130 million for the construction of two new schools.

The proposal's fate will be in the hands of voters Nov. 8.

Meetings are set for:

7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Central Road School, 3800 Central Road, Rolling Meadows.

6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at Stuart R. Paddock School, 225 W. Washington St., Palatine.

6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at Winston Campus Elementary, 900 E. Palatine Road, Palatine.

6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, Thomas Jefferson School, 3805 Winston Dr., Hoffman Estates.

7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, Gray M. Sanborn School, 101 N. Oak St., Palatine.

7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, Hunting Ridge School, 1105 W. Illinois Ave., Palatine.

10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, Marion Jordan School, 100 N. Harrison Ave., Palatine.

7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Lincoln School, 1021 N. Ridgewood Lane, Palatine.

7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, at Lake Louise School, 500 N. Jonathan Dr., Palatine.

7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Pleasant Hill School, 434 W. Illinois Ave., Palatine.

7 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 11, at Winston Campus Junior High, 120 N. Babcock Dr., Palatine.

7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at Frank C. Whiteley School, 4335 Haman Ave., Hoffman Estates.

6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, Kimball Hill School, 2905 Meadow Dr., Rolling Meadows.

7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Carl Sandburg Junior High, 2600 Martin Lane, Rolling Meadows.

6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, Jane Addams School, 1020 E. Sayles Dr., Palatine.

Superintendent Scott Thompson in an email Thursday said he doesn't anticipate the proposed school boundaries, as they appear on the district's website, to change before Nov. 8.

"If there is something significant should arise in the future, there is a possibility the maps would change," Thompson said.
