'Alexander Hamilton: The American Rags to Riches Story' at Geneva library

The Geneva Public Library, 127 James St., will present "Alexander Hamilton: The American Rags to Riches Story" from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12.

Alexander Hamilton, who became the first U.S. Treasury Secretary and leader of the Federalist Party, was born in the British West Indies and abandoned as a child. Terry Lynch will discuss how these humble beginnings planted the seeds of opportunity for this founding father.
