Good Shepherd Lutheran welcomes new pastor

The Rev. Andrew Howe recently was installed as associate pastor of youth & family ministry at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 195 Nesler Drive in Elgin.

Pastor Howe has been called to develop and lead a family-centered, church-supported ministry that supports the home as the primary agency in faith formation. He will primarily minister to families with children preschool age through senior youth. Pastor Howe has a passion for the faith development of youth and their families.

Pastor Howe is from Frankenmuth Michigan received a master's of divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Mo.

Good Shepherd welcomes Pastor Howe and his wife, Whitney, and prays God's blessings for them as they join in our Good Shepherd's mission: "Loving People to Jesus!"

On Saturday, there is a blended worship at 5 p.m., followed on Sundays, by a traditional service at 8:30 a.m. and a contemporary service at 10 a.m.
