Police: Man stood nearly naked while Naperville girl biked by

Naperville police are searching for a man who stood outside wearing only a baseball cap while a 15-year-old girl rode her bicycle past him, authorities said Wednesday.

The man sought in this case of disorderly conduct and public indecency is described as white, between 5 feet 9 inches tall and 6 feet 3 inches tall wearing a red baseball hat, possibly with white lettering. Police said he was described as clean shaven and appeared to be in his mid 40s to early 50s.

About 2:15 p.m. July 15, police said the man drove past a girl who was riding her bike in the area of Prairie and Charles avenues east of downtown Naperville. He then stopped his car and got out to stand facing the girl.

Wearing only the hat, the man covered his genitals and did not say anything as the girl rode past him, police said. After she passed by, the man got in his car and drove away.

Police said the man's vehicle is described as a white SUV or pickup, possibly in beater condition.
