Grain mostly lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. delivery was 4.50 cents a bale higher at $4.2960 a bushel; Sept. corn was 4.25 cents lower at $3.3060 bushel; Sept. oats was .50 cent lower at $2.0660 a bushel; while August soybeans fell 16.25 cents to $9.9020 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle was 2.35 cents higher at $1.1230 a pound; August feeder cattle was 3.70 cents higher at $1.4090 pound; August lean hogs was off .13 cent to $.7515 a pound.
