Bulldog Ale House open in Rolling Meadows

Bulldog Ale House, which has restaurants across the suburbs, is now open in its newest spot in Rolling Meadows.

The restaurant, at 1480 Golf Road, opened in late June after months of construction to renovate the former Chili's location and add a patio for outdoor dining. The building had sat vacant since Chili's closed in September 2011.

Bulldog Ale House also has locations in Roselle, Carol Stream, North Aurora and Bolingbrook. The new restaurant serves dinner and lunch, and is open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Bulldog is one of three new restaurants opening this year in the Rolling Meadows commercial area bounded by Algonquin, Golf and Wilke roads. Gabutto Burger, which puts a Japanese spin on traditional burger fare, is opening in the former Jamba Juice at 1410 W. Golf Road, and a Chicago dim sum restaurant called MingHin Cuisine is planning to open in the former Old Country Buffet at 1440 Golf Road.
